Acts of Courage Guest Writer Guidelines

We are a group of people who are passionate about equipping others to live a life of Courage. Through our focus on leading and moving from the heart, we hope to inspire optimism, bright ideas, right action, and human cooperation on a global level!

We believe our world could use a lot of courage right now – at home, at work, in society – to address a wide variety of societal and environmental challenges. It’s going to take a lot of us to engage in many Daily Acts of Courage to create the world we want to turn over to the next generations.

Would you like join us in our mission? Familiarize yourself with the content in our Library, and if you feel inspired to share a message of courage, we want to see it!

Keep in mind: Write about what you know. Courage impacts every person, of every background, on every level of knowledge and expertise. Start with your passion, knowledge, and area of expertise, and connect it to one or several Acts of Courage.

Be original. Posts must be unique to theactsofcourage.com. Posts must not have been published elsewhere online (including your personal blog) or be slated for distribution on other sites.

Write an intriguing opening. What is the core idea you want to communicate? What do you want to inspire others to do or be? The goal of the first sentence of your post is to make the reader want to continue reading. The first paragraph should tell the reader clearly and succinctly what the article will be about.

Editorial Review. We reserve the right to offer editorial changes (for syntax, not content) and will also format your post with photos and call-outs for maximum interest.  The finished post won’t be published until you approve of it.

Submit. Submit topic ideas or complete posts for consideration to [email protected]

In the subject line, please type “Guest post submission”.

Please include your bio (120 words or less) with links to your website, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and Twitter pages, and a headshot or photo of you to use for your bio.

We read every submission we receive but we are a small staff and can’t respond to every submission. If your post has been accepted, we will respond within 14 days.
